Accessibility
This site is built to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation or magnification.
Our approach
This website has been built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at AA level, with many elements meeting AAA. Specifically:
- Body text is set at 17px with a line height of 1.7, and scales when you zoom
- Text contrast meets or exceeds a 4.5:1 ratio against its background
- Every interactive element is reachable by keyboard and shows a clear 3px focus ring
- A skip link lets keyboard and screen reader users jump straight to the main content
- All buttons and links present a touch target of at least 44 by 44 pixels
- Icons are inline SVG with the decorative ones hidden from screen readers
- Animation and transitions are disabled automatically if your device requests reduced motion
- The site works in both light and dark colour schemes, following your device setting
- The layout reflows without horizontal scrolling from 320px upwards
Known limitations
Embedded third-party video players may not fully meet these standards. Where video is embedded, captions and a transcript will be provided.
